TOURING TO MARCH 2017

Macbeth

Big Brum is proud to present an exceptional Theatre in Education production of Macbeth with world class theatre and participatory workshops, for both Primary and Secondary schools.

"Stars hide your fires,
let not light see my black and deep desires"

We would like to give your students the opportunity to experience live Shakespeare within their school. Big Brum, world famous for the quality of our theatre in education programmes, will tour an adaptation of Macbeth in the spring term of 2017 . This production is aimed at Primary students in Year 5 and 6, and Secondary students in Year 7 and upwards. Macbeth is especially suitable for students of Drama, English, RE and PSHE.

The programme combines a powerful performance of Macbeth with participatory workshops, enabling your students to interact meaningfully with our highly experienced Actors, giving your students a new insight into Shakespeare's renowned tragedy.

The workshops utilise Big Brum's highly regarded model of Theatre in Education, using collaborative and participatory learning methods to deliver a holistic artistic and learning experience. We will ensure your young people are challenged to analyse, collaborate, make decisions, justify and evaluate, thereby building skills towards genuinely critical, creative and imaginative thinking.
