Performing at the Library of Birmingham

On Monday Big Brum took 'Touched' to the Studio Theatre in the new Library of Birmingham, as part of the Young Readers festival 2013.  Ceri's set looked great on stage and she also worked with the excellent backstage technicians to provide some atmospheric lighting for the play.  The set changes from the converging city alleyways to the underground sub-station as you can partially see from the pictures.

I will also publish a colour photo so the colour palette is displayed.

The actors enjoyed an audience of around 60 with a good mix of ages and family groups, including some young people as young as ten. There was a little concern as to age appropriateness, but the parents were keen to see the play and one ten year old ran up at the end of the play

and said simply "That was EPIC".
